New Delhi: Students wishing to go for professional training after passing 10th or 12th would be provided trainingby the Delhi Government. Training would be given under the Prime Minister's Skill Development Mission Program to around 30,000 of those students passed their 10th or 12th and are not willing to pursue further education.
According to Arvinder Singh Lovely, Education Minister with Delhi government, the training would be offered in 13 different trades depending on the market need of such kind of skilled manpower. These are automobile repair, beauty culture and hair dressing, electrical, electronics, fashion designing and garment making, Indian foods and snacks, hospitality, information and communication technology, refrigeration and air-conditioning, travel & tourism, retail sector, security and media.
As per the sources training would be provide from mid-July, classes would be held in the afternoon at all single shift government schools in Delhi. The education directorate has lined up proficient trainers for this purpose. All arrangements have been made for the training to around 30,000 students who would be able to find employment with more than satisfactory remuneration. Moreover, the training courses are being offered after a successful trial under which around 4,000 students were imparted training.
