The long wait is over! Delhi university has announced the first cut off list for its various colleges for academic session 2009-2010. The cut off list shows that North Campus colleges of Delhi University continue to spiral northwards but many off-campus colleges have slashed their required marks.
Many DU Colleges like Lady Shri Ram/LSR, Gargi and Sri Venkateswara have either shown a clear dip in cut-offs or have kept them unchanged from 2008-2009 level. At Lady Shri Ram college, the cut-off mark for the BA programme is the same as last year at 90.5%, and there is a drop of 0.25% in the BCom (Hons) course and 2% in English (Hons).
At Gargi college, the dip in cut off can be seen more cut-offs for BA programme, BCom, BCom (Hons) and English (Hons) have gone low.
Shri Venkateswara College, a popular college in South Campus, slashed cut-offs for subjects like Economics (Hons), History (Hons), Chemistry (Hons) Physics (Hons) and Math (Hons), while its English (Hons) cut-off remained unchanged from last year’s level. In fact, there’s a drop of 1% to 6% in its science cut-offs in comparision to last year.
