New Delhi: Keeping in view the present scenario of business environment, a new program, Certificate Program in Project Management has been introduced by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi.
The program is launched with the aim to equip the young and working professionals, with a deeper insight into the tools and technique for effective management of resources and cost in projects. It also provides a perception about the project leadership and risk management with computerized project management system. This results in an effective project management, which in the long run helps to meet or exceed customer expectation, maximize the successful conclusion on time and keep it within budget.
Classes will be held from 6:45 pm to 9:45 pm on Thursday and Sunday after the office hours, which will be an advantage for the working professionals. The duration of the program will be of two months and classes will be held through video conferencing. The evaluation will be done on regular basis and after successful completion of the program IIT Delhi will provide the certificate. The program fee is Rs41000 including inclusive of all charges.
Program Director, Prof. Devinder Kumar Banwet, a renowned thought leader of the field mentioned that the teaching procedure will be highly interactive, along with leverage use of technology. Moreover, the program will involve a judicious blend of lectures, real life access case studies, live corporate examples, general discussions and assignments, with an aim to provide greater industry insights.
