Kota: University of Kota campus will soon get converted into e-campus as the work is underway. Students of the university will be able to access facilities of video-conferencing, virtual classroom, online affiliations of colleges and other e-services within the campus. M L Kalra, Vice-Chancellor of the University, said that two MB Internet Line lease is being established which will start internet connectivity within the university premises and the entire campus will become a Wi-Fi zone. Kota University affiliated colleges will go online.
All the affiliated colleges have been asked to send their e-mail addresses so that online contact with these colleges can be established. Moreover, the fundamental classroom facility will facilitate professors of IIT, IIM and other higher education institutions to deliver a lecture to the students of the university. Library programmes of UGC will also be introduced after the start of e-campus facility. It has introduced two new master's degree programme i.e. MA - Sociology & Geography from the upcoming session. The university has registered 212 synopsis for research in last two years and 47 new research guides have been registered.
