New Delhi: India Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad, which isset up recently,would offer Masters and PhD programs from the ensuing session of 2009. According to a statement of HRD Ministry, IIT Hyderabad would conduct Masters of Technology (M Tech) Degree in five subjects - Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Apart from these, PhD program would be offered in nine disciplines - Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, Materials Science and Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering and Physics.
Meritorious candidates can avail scholarships. Interested candidates are requested to apply though the online procedure as the institute would entertain only on-line applications. The last date of applying for the courses is May 20.
