Mumbai: Department of School Education of Maharashtra has launched a new website for the enrolment of students to the junior colleges across the state. The newly introduced website would start functioning from June 10. Students can apply online for admission through http://fyjc.org.in/mumbai
V K Wankhede, Deputy Director, School Education Department, said that around 700 colleges across the Mumbai have their information on the website. According to the new system launched all students would be provided a separate login id through which they would be able to access all the detail about college, number of seats available etc. Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil, Minister State School Education, announced that students would be enrolled only through the online admission procedure. He further mentioned that a GR in this regard has been issued, leaving no scope for confusion among the students.
