PTET 2009 1st online counselling is likely to being form July 17, 2009 and till July 24, 2009. The counselling session is followed after the declaration of results on July 9, 2009 for the entrance test held in June 7, 2009.
PTET refers to Pre Teachers Entrance Test conducted by Jai Narain Vyas University (JNVU) in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. It is conducted by JNVU Jodhpur, on the guidelines issued and approved by Government of Rajasthan. PTET is conducted for admission into the B Ed (Bachelor of Education) program offered in various Teacher Training Institutions in the state of Rajasthan. As per the sources, the First cut off list contains the names of total 74,260 candidates. Out of these candidates Arts list was of 52,368, Science list was 16,523 and Commerce was 5369. The Government has issued NOC for 782 PTET Colleges. The total number of seats available for admission is 89,950.
The PTET candidates will have to deposit Rs 2000 in any branch of Bank of Baroda by July 15, 2009. The remaining fee of Rs 20,429 has to be deposited after allotment of PTET College. The option for selection of PTET College can be filled from July 17, 2009 to July 24, 2009. The college will undertake allotments on 27 July 2009.
