Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test (RPET) 2009 is likely to commence in the middle of July. The Counselling procedure follows after the declaration of result on July 7, 2009 for the entrance held in June 18, 2009.
Rajasthan Secondary Board of Education conducts the Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test (RPET) for admission into various engineering colleges across the state of Rajasthan. As per the sources, this year total of 70000 students will be appearing for the RPET Counselling, for a total of 30,000 available seats in the engineer colleges of Rajasthan, where admission is done through RPET Counselling. Therefore, it is likely that RPET Counselling 2009 will have only two phases. However depending on the availability of the seats third phase would also be held.
Eligibility
B E / B Tech - Candidate applying for admission into B E (Bachelor of Engineering) / B Tech (Bachelor of Technology) need to pass the 10+2 or HSLC form a recognized board with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and any one of Chemistry / Bio-technology / Computer Science / Biology as optional subject.
