New Delhi: University Grants Commission’s (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted on Sunday i.e. December 27, 2009, was marred due printing errors in the Russian Literature examination. As per sources, candidates complained of major printing errors while appearing for the examination.
The NET candidates have to appear for three papers in a day and almost half of the second paper and nearly 40% of the third was incomprehensible. According to the candidates, the first paper had no printing errors. They claimed that the UGC officials at the venue could not clarify whether marks would be awarded for the illegible questions. Due to this, some student organizations and the candidates are planning a protest outside the UGC office.
