Bhubaneshwar: State Government of Orissa has made the announcement that VSS Medical College Hospital would be conferred with the status of a unitary university and be made autonomous. Prasanna Acharya, State Health Minister, said that the State Government has taken an in-principle decision to make the long-standing demand an actuality.
Mr Achraya further added that the technical management and support team is working to prepare a draft in this regard. Moreover, the State government would soon introduce a Bill in the State Assembly to accord autonomous status to VSS Medical College and Hospital.
VSS Medical College Hospital, in Burla, has always earned the admiration of discerning students. It is an excellent hub of quality medical education. The medical colleges offer both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in medical science.
