AICTE Certifies XIMB Bhubaneswar for GMP Programme

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has approved Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, popularly known as XIMB, to conduct Global Management Programme (GMP). It is a 15-month full-time residential course, which is conducted for the working professionals, particularly the middle and senior level Management Professionals. The programme will start from June 2011.
 
Talking about its features, the programme consists of four terms with almost 13 weeks each. The remaining period will be allotted to International Immersion Programme for three weeks in Europe and/or USA in an affiliated University and also an Intensive Research Project (IRP), which is mandatory for the fulfillment of the Programme. Moreover, the programme will be conducted by the Faculty of the Institute along with the visiting Faculty from India and abroad.
 
The students, who have completed minimum three-year Bachelor degree in any subject from a recognized University in India or abroad along a minimum of five years of experience, are eligible to apply for this programme. The final selection to Global Management Programme (GMP) is done on the basis of GMAT score of the candidates, case study/group discussion and personal interview.
 
The main objective behind this course is to make the candidates comfortable in global environment by working at the middle and senior levels as management professionals.
