AIEEE Online Counseling 2010 Commences Today

The All India Engineering Entrance Examination 2010 (AIEEE) online counseling and admission procedure for the successful candidates has commenced today, i.e. on June 8, 2010, and continue till June 23, 2010.
 
As per sources, as many as 30 National Institute of Technology (NITs), five Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs), 16 other Central and state funded institutions and other deemed universities will partake in the process.
 
Allahabad, which is the nodal admission centre for UP and Uttarkhand will have Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Indian Institute of Information Technology and J K Institute of Applied Physics & Technology University of Allahabad as help centers.
 
Prof Rajeev Tripathi, Central Counseling Board (CCB) admission incharge for UP and Uttaranchal has said that this year, the CCB will carry out the admission procedures for eligible candidates. Students have to make their choices from a list of participating institutes available on the website www.ccb.nic.in.
 
Furthermore, Mr Tripathi has also mentioned that the eligible candidates will have to choose their branch/institute online. The results of the first round of seat allotment will be displayed on the CCB website on June 25. The result for the second round of allotment will be displayed on July 4, followed by a third round result on July 11.
