Chandigarh: The All India Management Association (AIMA), the apex body for the management field, has commenced a Management Aptitude and Skills Test (MAST) to analyze students of management sector across the country. The first Management Aptitude and Skills Test (MAST) will be conducted on February 20, 2011.
MAST is a computer-based test, which consists of questions ask upon the general ability, domain knowledge and personality traits. According to Anshu Kataria, chairman of the Aryans Business School, the test will examine students’ aptitude before entering into the corporate world.
By appreciating the effort of AIMA, Kataria said it has certainly brought an innovative model of examining B-school graduates, which will assist students along with recruiters to choose best job opportunity and right talent respectively.
Punjab Technical University (PTU) vice chancellor Rajneesh Arora said that this first management aptitude test will benefit employers as they can recruit right candidates with the required skills. It will also help in making recruitment procedure cost effective and competent.
