Visakhapatnam: Andhra University (AU) and Group -T University of Belgium collaborates in order to award Bachelor's degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering. The announcement was made by B Satyanarayana, Vice Chancellor of AU.
Mr Satyanarayana, who visited Group-T University in Belgium, has given his approval over the laboratory facilities and practical training given to the students in Group-T University. He also said that the president and the Vice-Chancellor of Group-T University, Prof Johan De Graeve and other team would visit Andhra University in March next year. In addition, both the Universities have signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on academic programmes.
Furthermore, he has mentioned that under the MoU, the Andhra University admitted the first batch of Bachelor of Engineering in Electro-Mechanical Engineering in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The classes for the first batch have already started. Moreover, he informed that the students would be studying first and second year in Andhra University and third and fourth year in Group T University in Belgium.
