Patna: The Government of Bihar opensanopportunity for MBBS graduates from other states, to appear in Bihar competitive entrance examination for admission in post graduate courses in government medical colleges of the state. Earlier, the entrance examination was restricted to the candidates graduated from college/university located in the state.
The information has been disclosed by the State Health Minister Nand Kishore Yadav. He also revealed that all the official procedures required have been completed. The step has been taken to fill up the vacant seats remained as a result of the advent of numerous autonomous medical colleges.
Further, he mentioned that due to the restriction imposed by the Supreme Court, they had to block doctors, who possess MBBS degree of the institution outside Bihar, for seeking admission but lately modification done by the Government of Maharashtra in its provisions have opened the doors for them as well.
