Gorakhpur: The Deendayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University has decided to stop teaching National Pride as its subject. As per sources, reason behind the decision is the lack of infrastructural facilities. As per university sources, the syllabus committee has decided to discard the subject of National Pride due to inadequate facilities.
Further, sources told that the university had included National Pride as a compulsory subject at the undergraduate level in 2002-2003. Now the university has decided to keep out the subject till they achieve the required resources from the state government, sources added.
