Faculty of Science University of Delhi, prominently known as DU, invites applications from the candidates, who desire to seek admission into postgraduate courses (M Sc.) in various branches of science, for the academic session 2010-2011. Admission to 50% seats will be made according to the candidate’s scores in the qualifying examination, that is, B.Sc. (Hons.) in the respective field from Delhi University, while for rest of the 50% seats, merit in the entrance examination (known as DU M. Sc Entrance Exam) will be the admission criteria for the selection of the candidates. For M. Sc Environmental Studies course, admission purely depends on merit in the entrance examination. Delhi University is counted among the prestigious educational institutions of India. The education offered by the University is considered to be of international standards.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can obtain the application form in person from the Office of the Faculty of Science- Unit – I, Pota Cabin, Near Department of Zoology, University of Delhi, Delhi - 110007, on working days between 10:30 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. on cash payment of Rs 100, for each course. Forms can also be attained via post, by sending a request accompanied with a demand draft of Rs 100, for each course, drawn in favour of the Registrar, University of Delhi, payable at State Bank of India Service Branch, New Delhi (Code no.7687), along with a self addressed envelope of size (25cms x 17cms) with postage stamps worth Rs. 27/- on the aforementioned address.
