DU to Use CAT Score for Admissions from Next Session Onwards

New Delhi: Next session onwards, the Delhi University will use theCommon Admission Test (CAT) for admission into its management programmes. Particularly, the University’s Department of Commerce, under the Faculty of Commerce and Business at Delhi School of Economics will adopt CAT score for admission into its management programmes namely MIB and MHROD.
 
Professor K V Bhanu Murthy, Head of Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics told that the department offers two specialized full time degree programme - MIB and MHROD. Further, he told that the students seeking admissions into MIB and MHROD programmes are required to appear for CAT. A cut-off list will be prepared on the candidates’ CAT score, by eminent panel of Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics. Thereafter, the short listed candidates will be called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).  
 
In addition, Professor K V Bhanu Murthy has mentioned that the final list of selected students will be prepared on the basis of GD, PI and CAT score.
