Karnataka: Two-day national seminar on English Language and Higher Studies will be organized at Cauvery College in Gonicoppal. The seminar is scheduled to be held on April 8 and 9, 2010.
A S Poovamma, Lecturer in English, has made the announcement that the seminar would be held on April 8 and 9 at the college auditorium. Subject experts would address the gathering. Moreover, about 200 delegates from all over the country would be present at the seminar.
During the seminar, experts would discuss the usage of language, modifications in the teaching system, preparing textbooks and inculcating higher teachings in the classroom study. The seminar will also urge the government to introduce transparent programme to develop English language.
