New Delhi: On Wednesday i.e. March 17, 2010, Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad announced that soon, there will be additional 10,000 post graduate seats in medical education within two years, and 4,000 of them will be available from the upcoming academic session.
Mr Azad also mentioned that many graduates of medical education are going abroad for studies. Therefore, the ministry is assuring 10,000 more PG seats within the next two years.
Further, he added that the seats will be available in central as well as in the state medical colleges. As per sources, the announcement was made during the 94th convocation of Lady Hardinge Medical College.
