Chandigarh: The Haryana Government will offer free coaching to all the Scheduled Castes (SC) students who are appearing for Diploma Entrance Test (DET) and All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE). As per sources, the decision has been taken by the Government of Haryana in order to allow SC students get enrolled in technical institutes.
A spokesperson of the Technical Education Department said that the SC students, who are appearing in the 10th standard board exam, were eligible for DET-2011 coaching, whereas the students appearing in 12th standard science stream board exams were eligible for AIEEE-2011 coaching. The spokesperson added that the DET and AIEEE coaching would start from December 22, 2010 and registration for it would commence from today at various centers.
In addition to the aforesaid information, the spokesperson informed that coaching for DET-2011 would be provided at Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Bawani Khera, Tosham, Loharu, Jhajjar, Sampla, Bahadurgarh, Rohtak, Meham, Kalanaur, Hisar, Uklana, Hansi, Narnaund, Agroha, Rewari, Sirsa, Dabwali, Ellenabad, Jind, Narwana, Fatehabad, Tohana, Kaithal, Karnal, Nilokheri, Indri, Gharaunda, Nigdhu, Kurukshetra, Nuh, Sonepat, Kharkhoda, Ganaur, Gohana, Panipat, Israna, Samalkha, Mahendragarh, Faridabad, Palwal, Gurgaon, Ambala Cantt., Ambala City, Naraingarh, Panchkula, Yamuna Nagar and Jagadhari.
Further, the spokesperson told that the coaching for AIEEE-2011 would be provided at Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Jhajjar, Rohtak, Hisar, Rewari, Sirsa, Jind, Fatehabad, Tohana, Kaithal, Karnal, Nilokheri, Indri, Gharaunda, Kurukshetra, Nuh, Sonepat, Gohana, Panipat, Israna, Mahendragarh, Faridabad, Palwal, Gurgaon, Ambala Cantt., Ambala City, Panchkula, Yamuna Nagar and Jagadhari.
