Dharamshala: Mr. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh, has ensured higher education for rural youths in the state. He said that the construction of Haripur Guler building was a step towards achieving this objective. On Wednesday i.e. November 24, 2010, in a public meeting, Mr. Dhumal said that the state government was rationalizing educational institutions all over the state with special emphasis on girl education.
Furthermore, Mr. Dhumal said that about 3 lakh people were being disbursed social security pension in the state, out of which 67,673 were sanctioned during the past 34 months. In addition, Mr. Ramesh Dhwala, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister, said that various self employment generating schemes launched by the State Government were benefiting the youth in remote areas like Tissa in Chamba who were marketing their flowers to Delhi and Amritsar.
