Institute of Energy Management and Research (IEMR) recently launched first campus in Gurgaon will offer a two-year postgraduate programme in management and a one-year executive postgraduate programme in management. The curriculum of the both the newly launched programme is a unique combination of general management education and energy-sector-focused managerial knowledge.
The curriculum of the newly launched course is designed in such a way that the candidates get a detailed overview of the critical aspects of the energy sector including green technologies and sustainable development. Also, they can choose one of four area specializations, in addition to functional specializations. The area specializations are (a) Power (b) Renewable Energy (c) Sustainability and Environmental Management and (d) Oil and Gas.
IEMR has the support of an eminent advisory board comprising top corporate leaders from companies such as Reliance Power, Tata Power, Jindal Steel and Power. It has already forged over 15 corporate partnerships with leading companies such as GMR, Wartsila, Andritz, etc.
Furthermore, unlike traditional management programmes offered at the other business schools, IEMR's programme and curricula are specifically designed by experienced professionals together with academics, to make them highly practical and to equip young managers with knowledge and skills that is essential to be productive and have impact immediately in their work-life post graduation.
