IIM Lucknow Launches Short Term Course

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM-L), Noida campus, has collaborated with Hughes Communication India Limited through Hughes Net Global Education. The collaboration resulted in the launching of its new short term course i.e. Advanced Program in Sales and Marketing.
 
The newly proposed programmes curriculum is designed to focus upon the consumer insights and to build understanding about marketing research in Indian context. The sole aim is to showcase the connection between marketing and sales to the students. The six month course would provide an in-depth knowledge on contemporary issues in marketing like retail management, e-marketing as well as prepare them how to select, evaluate and manage conflicts in distribution channels.
 
Professor Devi Singh, IIM - L Director said that catering to the increasing needs of the industry, they design courses keeping in mind the arising need. Being a pioneer institute in business management it becomes imperative for the institute to keep updated to the rising trends and needs, which is why a tie-up with Hughes Communications, which understands management education. The course specifically is designed keeping in mind the needs of the working professionals with sales and marketing background to help them identify the essential elements of a concrete marketing plan.
