IIT Bombay Celebrates World IP Day On April 26

Mumbai: This year too, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay celebrates the World IP Day on Monday i.e. April 26, 2010, by arranging two events on the afternoon. Every year, April 26 is being celebrated as the World IP Day at IIT Bombay.

World IP Day celebration starts with the IP Clinic. This is a clinic where IP experts from copyright, trademarks, patents and designs would be available to clarify the patentability of the idea, whether a trademark is possible and how to get a copyright and use it. This is the first step before the potential innovation can be protected.  This clinic is open to all who are interested to explore how to use intellectual property rights.
