IIT Heads Meet Scheduled Next Month to Make JEE Error Free

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Directors are scheduled to meet next month to evaluate the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) procedure in order to prevent the repeated errors that had marred JEE 2010. On the anvil is alternative to the time-tested process of maintaining minutes of every detail related to JEE and getting it verified by IIT Directors.  
 
According to the statement of an IIT Director, there have been a number of errors, all human errors, which can’t be defended. The processes need to be streamlined for early detection of errors. He also added that an adherence to the old school minutes approval process is probably needed and will be done. IIT Directors will meet next month to review this year’s IIT-JEE and look at what can be done to accommodate students who were allocated wrong seats.
 
This year, IIT JEE saw printing mistakes, incorrect information on subject heads in English and Hindi versions of question paper, paper, wrong instructions and wrong allocation of seats to some 52 students.
