The IIT-JEE result for admission into the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) will be announced on Wednesday, May 26, 2010. The IIT-JEE was conducted on the 11th of the last month.
The IIT-JEE 2010 results will be available ononline the official JEE website. This year about 4.72 lakh engineering aspirants wrote the IIT-JEE exam for approximately 10000 seats.
The online filling of choices (counselling) for successful candidates will start from May 27, 2010. The process will continue till June 9.
The IIT-JEE examination ran into a controversy when the examinees claimed to have received wrong instructions in the Hindi version. A petition was filed with the Delhi High court and later in the Supreme Court, but both were rejected.
