IIT-R Registration for PhD Programme for Spring Semester Scheduled Today

Uttarakhand: The registration for new entrants for PhD Programme for Spring Semester of the session 2010-11 at Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT-R) is scheduled to held today i.e. on December 30, 2010.

However, those candidates who would not be able to produce the results of the qualifying examination and/or caste/category certificate on the prescribed format or Certificate not issued after March 31, 2009/unable to report due to unforeseen circumstances on this date. Such student may note the following in order get themselves registered.

1. All candidates those who are able to produce the results of their qualifying examination and/or the caste/category certificate on prescribed format by December 30, 2010 may be registered.
2. Those who are able to produce their results by February 28, 2011 may also get themselves registered for the current semester, but they will not be allowed to take any course work including seminar during the current semester and they can start the course work including seminar during the Autumn semester of session 2011-12.
3. Those who are not able to produce the results of their qualifying examinations and/or the caste/category certificate on prescribed format/unable to report due to unforeseen circumstances even by February 28, 2011, their admission shall stand cancelled.
