Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has invited applications from regular teachers of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved degree level engineering institutions, NITs and NITTTRs, for admission into Master of Technology (M Tech)/Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme under Quality Improvement Programme (QIP), to be offered in the ensuing session 2011.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can fill and submit the completed application form online by visiting the institute's official website: http://www.iitr.ernet.in/QIP_admissions_10/. Thereafter, candidates are required to send the printout of the online application form duly forwarded by the Principal/Head of the Institution along with relevant enclosures accompanied by DD of Rs 500 (Rs 250 for PD/SC/ST) drawn in favor of IIT Roorkee QIP payable at Roorkee to the Principal Coordinator QIP, Quality Improvement Programme Centre, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee - 247 667. Candidates can obtain the printed information brochure from IIT Roorkee by sending a DD of Rs 100 drawn in favor of IIT Roorkee QIP payable at Roorkee, along with a self addressed A4 size envelope. Programme for which the admission is desired (M Tech or PhD) should be clearly written on the top of envelope. For further details, candidates can visit the institute's aforementioned website.
