India Signs Education Accord with 10 Nations

New Delhi: India has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with 10 nations for cooperation in the field of education. The parliament was informed regarding the agreement on Wednesday i.e. on December 8, 2010.
 
 Minister of State for Human Resource Development (HRD) D. Purandeswari has said in a written reply in the Lok Sabha that the Ministry has signed exclusive exchange programmes in the form of Educational Exchange Programme with 10 countries to strengthen international cooperation in the field of education during the 11th Five Year Plan (2007-2012).

The list of the 10 nations comprise of Botswana, Canada, Chile, Ethiopia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Norway, Oman, Turkmenistan and Vietnam.
