Chennai: The online registration for Indian Bank Probationary Officers recruitment 2010 starts on October 12, 2010. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the Bank's official website: www.indianbank.in. Last date for online registration is November 11, 2010. Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written examination, followed by an interview. The tentative date of written examination is January 2, 2011.
The written examination will be held at: Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Cuddalore, Dharmapuri, Ernakulam, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kancheepuram, Kolkata, Kumbakonam, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, New Delhi, Port Blair, Patna, Pune, Puducherry, Salem, Tirunelveli, Tirupati, Trichy, Vellore, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam.
Candidates must have a valid E-mail id before applying online. If a candidate does not have a valid E-mail id, he/she must create the same. Candidates are required to pay the fees through a challan, which will be made available at Bank's aforementioned website. Candidates have to take the printout of challan before depositing the fee.
The application fee including postal charges for general and OBC category candidates is Rs 400. However, SC/ST/PWD category candidates need not to pay any application fee but they are required to pay the postal charges of Rs 50.
