New Delhi: On Monday i.e. on April 26, 2010, Jamia Millia Islamia announced to launch a Bachelor of Arts (BA) (General) course, to be offered from the ensuing session 2010-11. The newly launched B A (General) course will be offered through the distant-learning mode.
The BA (General) course is just similar to the (BA) regular course, which was recently, suspended by the University. In a statement issued by the university, the course has been launched to meet the requirements of class 12 students for whom formal education at university may not be easily accessible. The BA (General) course would include all possible components, which the withdrawn BA (Pass) regular course had.
Furthermore, a Jamia spokesperson has said that the BA regular course has been suspended for the year, as it is being revamped.
