New Delhi: The Department of Psychology, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University, will organize a ‘Street Play’ on “Mental Health” on December 14, 2010 at 11.00 am to 1.00 pm. It is being organized in collaboration with IHBAS.
The venue will be the Main Campus of the University (Near Central Canteen) to commemorate the Mental Health Week (8-14 December 2010). According to a press of the university, the play has been supported by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India and Govt. of NCT, Delhi.
Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) was originally established at Aligarh in United Provinces, India in the year 1920. It became a Central University by an act of the Indian Parliament in 1988 by a Special Act of the Parliament. Presently, the University offers courses in a multitude of disciplines.
