On Wednesday i.e. May 5, 2010, Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE), Tura, released the results of Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examinations. MBOSE came into existence in the year 1974. In 1996, NEHU University stopped imparting its Pre-University course for the Board. Consequently, the Board started handling the responsibility of finances for it as well as academic issues. Apart from this, MBOSE prepares the syllabus for its students for HSSLC and SSLC as well. The Board aims at imparting quality education to the students, so that they in turn will contribute towards the betterment of the society and emerge as competent professionals.
