MBSE HSLC Results 2010: Girls Ahead in Scoring

Aizawl: This year, girls were ahead in scoring in the Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) HSLC examinations. The MBSE HSLC results 2010 were announced on March 27, 2010. Female candidates have done far better than their male counterparts, with eight of them being placed in the Top 10.
 
According to officials in the education department, the overall pass percentage is not that impressive, yet 66.6% is still not that bad. In the overall pass percentage, the boys have a slight edge with 69.64 % over the girls who scored 63.62%. As per sources, Benjamin Lalfakmawia of St Peter’s Higher Secondary School secured the number one spot with six letter marks. However, the top 5 slots were captured by students from St. Paul’s Higher Secondary School.
