MCD Teachers Busy During Commonwealth Games

New Delhi: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) primary teachers will not be able to enjoy the break during Commonwealth Games. Due to various duties assigned at different places by CG organizing committee.
 
According to MCD, a total of 441 teachers will be recruited for various duties. Of the total 441, 82 teachers will be assigned to be posted near the spectator stand and 99 teachers will be working as administrators of the venues. Moreover, 25 teachers will be assigned as workforce operators, 60 as venue operators, 60 as uniform distributors, 8 for accommodation and 47 as cleaning supervisors.
 

Mahender Nagpal, Chairman, MCD’s Education Committee, has said that they have accepted the proposal from the games OC and had also sent a list of teachers to the OC a few months ago. Moreover, 441 teachers have been assigned duties and some of them have been kept on standby. All participating teachers will be given certificates at the end of the games for their efforts.
