National Institute of Open Schooling April 2010 Exam Results To be Declared Soon

National Institute of Open Schooling, popularly known as NIOS, will soon declare the results of secondary (class 10th) and senior secondary (class 12th) examinations of vocational courses, which were held in April 2010. The institute has revealed that the secondary examinations results will be declared on 10.06.2010 at 11:00 AM, while the senior secondary examination results will be declared today i.e. on 09.06.2010, at 11:00 AM. Candidates can check out their results from the official link of NIOS: http://www.nos.org/result/result.html. Candidates can also get their results via SMS, by sending message according to the format given below:
 
For Class XII results, Type NIOS12 <rollno> and send it to any one of the following numbers: 5676750, 52424, 58888 or 56263.
 
For Class X results, Type NIOS10 <rollno> and send it to any one of the following numbers: 5676750, 52424, 58888, 56263.
 
Formerly known as National Open School or NOS, the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) came into existence in November 1989, as an autonomous organization in pursuance of National Policy of Education 1986. The Open School was established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. Currently, NIOS is imparting quality education through vocational, life enrichment and community-oriented courses, apart from general and academic courses at secondary and senior secondary level. NIOS is a boon for those students, who are unable to pursue secondary and senior secondary education through regular mode.
