New Delhi: Pearl Academy of Fashion (PAF), a leading Fashion and Design institute in the country, organized a Sports Extravaganza at Hari Nagar Sports Complex on Saturday, March 6, 2010. The fun event was open for all students, faculty and staff members of the institute.
As per sources, many students and all faculty and staff members partook with great zeal and enthusiasm in different events. The main aim of organizing such event was to promote unity and team spirits through sports activities like pithu garam, Kho - kho, tug of war, sack race, three legged race and lemon race. Also, a cricket match has been organized amidst huge fun and excitement.
Dr. A. K. G. Nair, Group Director of PAF, said that they are very happy to organize this sporting event involving the students, teachers and staff members of Pearl Academy of Fashion. This initiative is meant to enhance the bond between each member associated with the institute. Also, it provides a platform to showcase each individual their talent, apart from the regular learning or teaching activities.
