Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) will soon be announcing the result of class 10th examination. Candidates, who have appeared in the examination, can check the result by visiting the Board's official website: http://www.pseb.ac.in/, once declared. Candidates are advised to visit the Board's aforementioned website regularly as the result is expected to be declared soon.
PSEB came into existence in November 1969 for development and promotion of school education in the state of Punjab. The Board came into existence through a legislative enactment. PSEB comprises of a Chairman, Vice Chairman and twenty five other members including Educationists, Academicians and Political members.
Punjab School Education Board or PSEB comprises of four main branches i.e. Academic Branch, Examination Branch, Publication Branch and Administration/Accounts Branch. So far, the Board has affiliated nearly 2700 schools. The Board has also established 10 Adarsh Schools since 1979 so as to offer quality education in the rural areas.
