Department of Foreign Language, Pune University, has published the revised dates of admission for various part-time foreign language courses, for the upcoming academic session 2010-11.

Pune University Publishes Revised Schedule of Foreign Language Courses Admission

Department of Foreign Language, University of Pune, has revised the admission dates of its various part-time foreign language courses. The foreign languages courses include certificate, diploma and advanced diploma courses in French, German, Russian, Japanese, and Spanish. According to the latest notification released by the university, the admission forms will be available till July, 15, 2010.
 
As per the earlier schedule, the last date of availability of forms was fixed as July, 5, 2010 and the last date for submission of application forms along with the DD for application fees and essential enclosures was determined as July, 7, 2010.
 
However, the first merit list will be declared considering the scores of the candidates, who have submitted the forms on or before July, 7, 2010. Those, who will fill forms between 8th July 2010 and 15th July 2010, are required to submit them only on 20th and 21st July 2010. The second merit list will be declared considering the scores of remaining applicants, who have filled the form on or before July, 7, 2010. University of Pune, incepted on February, 10, 1948, is spread over an area of 411 acres of land, with 46 academic departments. The University is prominently referred to as 'Oxford of the East'.
