Karnataka: Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka, will conduct the Postgraduate Entrance Test, popularly known as PGET on January 30, 2011. The entrance examination would be conducted for the admission into postgraduate (PG) Medical and Dental courses, to be offered in the ensuing session 2011-2012.

The institution was named in the memory of Rajiv Gandhi, the former Prime Minister of India. The university was established under the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Act of 1994.
RGUHS offers a number of courses in various disciplines. The university is committed in providing education in Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, Homoeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy, Yoga and in Nursing. About 276 colleges in the state, conducting similar courses, were affiliated by RGUHS, in order to achieve uniform standards in academics and administration.
