Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPIMS), Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, has announced to conduct the Post Basic Diploma in Specialty Nursing (PBDSN) admission test, on May 30, 2010. It is an entrance test for admission into PBDSN courses, which is to be offered in the upcoming session commencing from July 2010. The last date of submitting the application form is May 8, 2010.
Eligibility prescribed for the admission is that the candidate must have Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) along with one year experience in a large hospital (at least 200 bedded) or B.Sc. (Nursing). The age limit: is 35 years as on 1-1-2010. Age relaxation of 5 years may be given to SC, ST, OBC and sponsored candidates. Reservation will be applicable as per U.P. Government’s rules.
