New Delhi: The enrollment session at Delhi University (DU) for the disabled students commences from May 28, 2011 between 9:30 am and 2:00 pm from Monday to Saturday. The last date of registration closes on June 8. The registration for the disabled students will be done in the office of the dean of students' welfare (DSW) of the University.
The registration forms and information brochure will be circulated among students without any charges. The University will also provide counselors in order to offer necessary assistance to students. In addition, volunteers will be there at the locations to help those students in filling the forms.
To get enrolled under the physically challenged category at University's various courses candidate must go through a medical examination. The medical examination will be conducted in the University's Health Centre which is situated in the North Campus. The exact date and time for the medical examination will be displayed on the notice board at the office of the DSW. The first list of selected students will be displayed by the DSW office on June 15, 2011 at 2:00 pm.
