New Delhi: Edserv, an education and placement services company, said that it is expecting a profit of Rs 200 crore from its venture into the online coaching for Chartered Accountancy (CA). As per sources, the company has collaborated with Sreeram Coaching Point in order to provide online coaching for CA students through www.lampsglow.com.
S Giridharan, Chairman and CEO, Edserv said that this marks EdServ's foray into the estimated Rs 2000 crore CA training market in India. They are expecting to capture 10 percent market share and generate revenues of around Rs 200 crore over the next two years, CEO added.
Further, Mr. Giridharan told the sources that the company will also focus on overseas markets like Middle East to tap the opportunities in the CA training space. As per sources, both companies will work on a revenue sharing agreement. The companies will provide web-based lectures to CA aspirants. EdServ aims to train about 2-3 lakh students over the next two years, sources added.
