Franchise India All Set to Organize Indian Education Congress 2011

New Delhi: To uphold the education business in India, Franchise India is going to organize India’s biggest forum on Business of Education - Indian Education Congress 2011, with the support of Indian Franchise Association (IFA) and KPMG.
 
Indian Education Congress 2011, conference is scheduled to be held on April 22, 2011 and April 23, 2011, at Surajkund, New Delhi, from 9 AM to 8 PM. It will focus on the business of education, which is one of the most prominent sectors of India.
 
It will be a perfect international platform, which would be a platform for key policy makers, educationists and corporate for deliberations and interactions that will lead to share learning and knowledge as well as to grab attention towards the best practices and innovations in the field of education.

Mr. Gaurav Marya, President, Franchise India said that the government's education expenditure as a percentage of GDP is about 5% and the consumption trends predict that the urban Indian is spending 9% of his wallet on education while the rural consumer spends only 6%. In view of huge requirements of infrastructure and manpower in the field, even if the government takes up the supply challenge, the time frame will exceed the youthfulness of our population. He also added that the Indian Education Congress is an initiative by Franchise India that recognizes the need to think more boldly and broadly on how to strengthen and expand their existing initiatives.
