Lucknow: Gautam Buddh Technical University (GBTU), Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, will conduct the PhD Aptitude Test 2011 on October 9, 2011 from 11.00 am to 12 noon. The venue of the test will be IET, Sitapur, Lucknow. The aptitude test is conducted by the University to select eligible candidates for admission into PhD programme.
The test will be conducted in the following branches - Management, Engineering & Technology (including Textile, Chemical Technology, Biotechnology, Bio-informatics, MCA), Pharmacy, Basic Sciences (including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics), and Architecture. Those candidates who qualify the aptitude test will be called for the interview on a subsequent date to be notified on the website.
Candidates are required to download the prescribed downloadable Admit Card made available on the University's official website: http://uptu.ac.in. The direct link to obtain the admit card is: http://uptu.ac.in/CollegeLogin_N/upload/201v2ulxzcu.pdf. After downloading the admit card, one must paste his/her recent photograph and get it attested by a Gazetted Officer. In addition, candidates are requested to bring an extra passport-size photograph for verification on the day of examination.0
