Kolkata: The Institute of Computer Accountants (ICA) has declared their upcoming project, on Thursday i.e. February 11, 2011. Under this project, ICA will provide job oriented training to 22,000 Below the Poverty Line (BPL) youths.
The project, which is acknowledged by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, will be implemented in three zones where 22,000 BPL students will be trained. Moreover, the project will be exercised in states like Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh etc.
Deputy General Manager of NABARD Consultancy Services, Vimal Kishor said that the need of skill development has been recognized by Prime Minister for the future development of young aspirants, as 25% youths are residing in India but without any skilled training. The project will enhance their skills as well as bring employment and placement opportunities in the end product.
Speaking in line with Mr. Kishor, the Chairman of ICA, N K Shyamsukha stated that the main objective of the entire project is to minimizing the level of unemployment in India and to give every opportunity to the poor youths to be trained and get employment.
