Indian Institute of Foreign Trace (IIFT) launched its ‘Energy, Operations & Manufacturing cell as the center for energy and operations interest within its campus.
The EOM cell offers a platform for interaction between students, faculty, alumni, business leaders and researchers. Also, various proposals are undertaken to ensure the faultless transfer of knowledge and to tackle the challenges posed globally to these sectors. This initiative from IIFT is anticipated to be very beneficial in giving the right path to the budding managers.
As per sources, the launch of the cell incorporated discussion on ‘Optimising the Globalised Supply Chain - The Era of Revitalised Command.’ Besides, the session was addressed by some of the renowned personalities namely Sunil Rekhi, CFO, Renault-Nissan India and Ganesan Ramachandran, Head-SCM Practice, Accenture Management Consulting, who as well shared their experiences with professors and students.
