New Delhi: Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has won the highest business school rating in India. As per sources, the institute has been awarded with the highest grading in a B-school category by the Credit Rating and Information Services of India Ltd (CRISIL). CRISIL has awarded the institute a rating of National A*** and State NCR A***, which is the highest rating in the category.
Further, sources told that CRISIL has declared the launch of its new service, grading of educational institutions, recently. CRISIL has commenced the service with the business school segment, sources added. In addition, sources informed that CRISIL will conduct a healthy and all round assessment in order to judge the ability of an institute to impart quality education.
Mr. K T Chacko, Director, IIFT said that it is indeed a very proud moment for IIFT to be awarded highest grading by CRISIL. In more than four decades of IIFT's existence, they have built a niche for themselves and are constantly striving towards fulfilling their pioneering role, he added.
Furthermore, sources told that the evaluation process of CRISIL covers every aspect, which includes vision, mission, pedagogy, industry alignment, admission, assessments, industry interface, placement, extra-curricular and co-curricular activities.
