IIM-A Conducts Case Writing Contest

Ahmedabad: Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) will conduct a case writing contest namely International Case Masters (ICM). The event is a part of IIM-A’s golden jubilee celebrations. Students as well as faculty members of b-schools from across the globe will compete in order to showcase their case writing skills.

The last date for registration for this contest and last date for submitting case entries are February 20 and March 25, respectively. As per sources, the contest will have five winners in different categories, including 'growth opportunities in developing country', 'evolving market paradigm', 'changing financial landscapes', 'new ventures' and an open track category.

Moreover, the subject matter of the competition is 'change' and it aims to encourage the study of changing global management practices through original case entries. Coordinator of the competition Ankush Chugh has said that they have informed B-schools in various continents and have also started receiving a good response from many of them. He also added that ICM aims to bring together academicians from across the globe to discuss the latest management issues.
